The outside world!

I had a really good day today.

I absolutely cherish days like today: the ones where I’m happy, feel decent, get to do things I enjoy with people I love, and for the most part, forget that there is a disease threatening my very existence.

Our day started off the best way possible, by Mosha and I going to church! I think I was pretty eager and excited to get out of the house because I woke up really early. I was able to log into FFXIV and play for a few hours before I ever even had to get dressed. Since I still had free time after showering, I decided to put some makeup on (which I don’t think I’ve done since my birthday last month), and that always makes me feel good.

The service was really good, and that probably has a lot to do with the fact that it was just mentally good for me to be out of the house and in public, seeing other faces besides my own. It was a special service where we had communion, so the message was about why we have communion and what the significance of it is. Interesting stuff.

After church we came home and ate lunch, and I goofed off on Snapchat and even managed to sneak in a few pictures with Mosha using silly filters, which is pretty rare. He had studio in the afternoon, and I took a nap so that I would be well-rested for when he came home since we watch Game of Thrones every Sunday. That was pretty much all that we did, but it was very relaxing overall, and definitely nice to just have a good day. Now, time to rest up for my first session of radiation in the morning.
